Our approach to alliance advisory engagements utilizes the "resource-based" methodology when advising clients on potential alliance relationships.  Through this approach, our Alliance Advisor's begin all engagements by utilizing their specialized knowledge to evaluate the client's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in order to:

identify areas where the client could benefit from accessing the specialized resources of an external party; and

determine which tangible or intangible resources of the client may be attractive to a potential alliance partner.

If an alliance is concluded to be a potentially viable option for the client, the next step in our alliance advisory engagement process involves working with the client's management to:

develop conceptual alliance structures and strategies;

identify alliance partner prospects;

bullet

conduct confidential market & prospect research and analysis; and

bullet

prepare multi-variable cost-benefit analysis projections.

The above steps result in the creation of an Alliance Strategy Analysis Report that includes the final results of the advisory engagement and details our recommendations.  If applicable, this Report also outlines terms & conditions under which Omega would be prepared to invest in and/or facilitate the development, implementation, and management of any of the researched alliance structures and strategies.
